Japfa Comfeed inaugurates animal feed mill in Binh Dinh
On the morning of 18th November 2020, in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon Town, Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Co., Ltd. inaugurated its modern and high-tech animal feed mill. The inauguration ceremony attracted the presence of Mr. Phung Duc Tien-Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; H.E Mr. Ibnu Hadi - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam and the leaders of the relevant departments and agencies of the province.
Japfa Vietnam is a wholly foreign-owned company invested by Japfa Limited - a group of companies with the head office in Singapore and subsidiaries in Indonesia, India, Vietnam, China and Bangladesh. Japfa group has been investing in Vietnam since 1996. After more than 20 years of development, Japfa Vietnam is known as one of the leading companies specializing in the animal feed and agriculture of Vietnam.
Japfa Comfeed Binh Dinh is the sixth factory of Japfa Vietnam with the total investment capital of about VND300 billion (equivalent to USD 13 million). Japfa Comfeed Binh Dinh, based in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, constructed on an area of 7 hectares in a planned industrial park, will supply high-quality animal feed to the potential markets in the Central region. Equipped with a modern production line and the advanced technology, the feed mill has a designed capacity of 180,000 tonnes of animal feed per year. The official operation of the mill will facilitate Japfa Comfeed to achieve the key targets in both the short term and the long term such as obtaining one million tons of feed in 2020, occupying 5% of the animal feed market share and keeping the average growth of 12% per year.
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Arif Widjaja - General Director of Japfa Vietnam said: “With the mission of cooperation for common prosperity, Japfa Binh Dinh will help us offer more values to the customers and create jobs for the local people. We also expect to make more contributions to the prosperous development of Binh Dinh in particular and Vietnam in general.”
Addressing at the event, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee said that the operation of Japfa Comfeed Binh Dinh was the clear evidence for the strong relationship between Binh Dinh province and the localities, enterprises of Indonesia in particular and the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Indonesia in general. He is also committed to creating the favorable conditions and providing strong support for Japfa Vietnam to effectively operate in Binh Dinh province.
