Provincial leader receives Chinese Consul General in Da Nang City
On the afternoon of June 22, at the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Dong Bich Du, Consul General of China in Da Nang City. Also attending the meeting were leaders of the departments of Industry and Trade, Tourism, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Foreign Affairs and Provincial Economic Zone Administration.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Lam Hai Giang expressed his pleasure to welcome the Consul General Dong Bich Du to Binh Dinh for the second time within 6 months. Mr. Lam Hai Giang said that the Chinese market is one of the main import and export markets of enterprises in Binh Dinh province; however, not many Chinese enterprises invest in Binh Dinh and the investment is still modest. In the coming time, Binh Dinh province wishes to strengthen bilateral trade activities and to invite Chinese investors to survey and explore opportunities for investment cooperation, trade and tourism promotion in Binh Dinh.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang thanked the Chinese Consulate General for connecting and developing the cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Chinese partners in recent years. The Vice Chairman hoped that this trip to the province would help the delegation have more information about Binh Dinh, especially on development orientation and environment, policies to attract foreign investment. Thereby, it is hoped that the delegation will be interested in supporting the promotion of the image of Binh Dinh to Chinese partners and investors; will continue to pay attention to further and further develop the friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China in general, between Binh Dinh province and the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang city and Chinese partners in particular. The province is committed to creating favorable conditions for businesses to explore investment in the province.

The reopening of China from January 8, 2023 after 3 years of implementing COVID-19 prevention measures has created favorable conditions for exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in all fields. Through understanding that Binh Dinh province has favorable conditions, complete infrastructure, abundant resources, potential for cooperation between the two sides in many fields such as agricultural products, investment, tourism, etc. The Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang pledged to continue expanding and promoting exchanges and cooperation between localities of the two sides in depth.

Next day, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board took the delegation to Becamex Industrial Park and Nhon Hoi Economic Zone to find out the investment attraction situation of the province.
