Provincial Party Secretary receives a courtesy call on Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria
On the afternoon of September 12, 2023, at the Provincial Party Committee Office, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, cum Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired a courtesy reception for Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria Monder Bouden. The reception was also attended by Ms. Huynh Thuy Van, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Ly Tiet Hanh, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and representative of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Culture and Sports.
At the reception, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung was delighted to welcome Mr. Monder Bouden, Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria to the province on the occasion of attending the "IPU Science for Peace" Conference held at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), and gave an overview of the province's potentials, advantages and economic, cultural and social development in recent years. The Secretary emphasized that Binh Dinh province is orienting to build and strongly develop industries, services, and tourism and identify tourism as the province's key economic sector with determination to build Quy Nhon city as an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

Based on the good political relationship and great potential of the two countries, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung hopes that, through this visit, especially with his role, Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria will be a bridge, actively connecting Binh Dinh province with Algerian localities to enhance exchange activities, expand bilateral cooperation, and attract investment.
Thanking the warm welcome of the provincial leaders, Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria Monder Bouden highly valued the development potential, as well as the outstanding results that Binh Dinh province has achieved recently. Affirming the long-standing traditional relationship between the two countries, the Deputy Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria hoped that cooperation between Algeria and Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh in particular would be more effective in many fields, contributing to creating motivation to promote cooperation between the two countries to new heights.
In the near future, he will put the content of development cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Algerian localities on the agenda at the working session between the two countries' National Assembly leaders.
