Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan receives French Ambassador to Viet Nam
On the morning of March 3, 2024, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan chaired a reception with Mr. Olivier Brochet, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Viet Nam and members of the French Embassy and the French Agency for Development (AFD) in Viet Nam. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant agencies of the province.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan informed about the potential, advantages, and development orientation of the province. He hoped that Ambassador Olivier Brochet would pay attention to supporting the province in building Quy Hoa Science Urban Area to reach out and have stronger breakthroughs with the nucleus of the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) through the organization of international conferences with the participation of many leading scientists in the world, as well as connecting and enhancing investment attraction and cooperation in tourism, education, culture and so on.
In addition, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hoped that the French Government would continue to pay attention and coordinate with Binh Dinh province to promote the successful implementation of programs and projects that are being and will be implemented, especially the Proposed Project to build a technical infrastructure system for rainwater drainage, wastewater collection and treatment in An Nhon town, Hoai Nhon town and Tay Son district (phase 1).

In addition, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hoped that the French Government would continue to pay attention and coordinate with Binh Dinh province to promote the successful implementation of programs and projects that are being and will be implemented, especially the Proposed Project to build a technical infrastructure system for rainwater drainage, wastewater collection and treatment in An Nhon town, Hoai Nhon town and Tay Son district (phase 1).

Mr. Olivier Brochet, the French Ambassador to Viet Nam, thanked Binh Dinh for the respectful welcome and said, this is the first time he has come to Binh Dinh since taking the position of the French Ambassador to Viet Nam in September 2023. Noting the development orientations of Binh Dinh province, he affirmed his willingness to cooperate with the province in the coming time and suggested that the province pay attention to creating conditions to promote the expansion of French language teaching and training in the province, first through Quy Nhon University.
The French Ambassador to Viet Nam also affirmed that he would make efforts to connect, introduce and promote Binh Dinh to French partners, businesses and investors in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee invited the French Ambassador to Viet Nam and the Director of the French Agency for Development in Viet Nam to attend UIM F1H2O and UIM-ABP Aquabike Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 and related activities in Binh Dinh at the end of March 2024.
The French Ambassador to Viet Nam also affirmed that he would make efforts to connect, introduce and promote Binh Dinh to French partners, businesses and investors in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee invited the French Ambassador to Viet Nam and the Director of the French Agency for Development in Viet Nam to attend UIM F1H2O and UIM-ABP Aquabike Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 and related activities in Binh Dinh at the end of March 2024.
