At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Doan Van Phi briefly introduced the natural conditions, socio-economic development of the province and the situation of investment and trade promotion with Japan. To date, two local-level cooperation agreements have been signed, including the cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and the government of Izumisano city (Osaka province); the cooperation agreement between Vinh Thanh district People's Committee and the government of Yoshino town (Nara province).
He hoped that the delegation could connect Japanese businesses to learn, survey, and invest in the province, and support the promotion of Binh Dinh's potential, advantages, and typical products to the Japanese market, including legal support, providing standards and regulations so that more and more products of the province would be exported to Japan.
Mr. Miyashita Katsuhiko - Head of the Commission on Economics, Tourism and Enterprise said, Nagano province currently has 6,200 Vietnamese people working in the manufacturing industry and agriculture. Therefore, he wished Binh Dinh province to have favorable policies to support for people working in Japan, including Nagano province.
