Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh receives the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang

On the afternoon of March 7, 2024, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh had a meeting with Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori - Consul General of Japan in Da Nang. Also attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant agencies.
At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh affirmed that Japan is an important partner; recently, the province has promoted the image, potential, advantages, and socio-economic achievements of the province to Japanese partners in order to invite Japanese investors to cooperate, invest and do business in the province. From 2012 up to now, Binh Dinh province has regularly organized connection and promotion activities between the province and Japanese localities and partners. As a result, Binh Dinh has had a close cooperative relationship with the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai and Sakai city. In addition, thanks to the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai, Binh Dinh province and Izumisano city (Osaka Prefecture) signed to establish friendly cooperative relations in October 2019; Vinh Thanh district and Yoshino town (Nara Prefecture) signed a friendship cooperation agreement in July 2023,...
 
To date, Binh Dinh has attracted 19 projects from Japanese businesses and investors, with a total registered capital of more than 94 million USD. The province's 2023 export turnover to the Japanese market is estimated to reach more than 275.3 million USD, an increase of 31% compared to 2022. Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that in addition to the province's efforts, the Consul General's concern and support for the province during his tenure is very appreciated. The Vice Chairman said that in April, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung would lead the provincial delegation to visit and work with leaders of Sakai city along with a number of localities and Japanese partners, organized an investment promotion conference in Tokyo to strengthen and expand cooperative relations and attract Japanese investment into Binh Dinh province. Therefore, the province hoped that Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, regardless of his position, would love, care, support and promote cooperative relations between Vietnam and Japan in general, between Binh Dinh province and Japanese localities and partners in particular.

Consul General Yakabe Yoshinori would like to thank the province for high attention and close coordination in tightening the relations of both sides, especially creating favorable conditions for Japanese businesses in Binh Dinh, and at the same time hoped that, in the coming time, it would continue to receive close coordination and support from provincial leaders and related agencies with the next Consul General as well as other Japanese businesses in the province.

On this occasion, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh invited Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori to attend the UIM F1H2O and UIM-ABP AQUABIKE Binh Dinh Grand Prix 2024 held in the province at the end of March 2024.
