Provincial leader receives Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City
On the morning of November 28, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada - Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City. Also attending the meeting were leaders of the Departments of Industry and Trade, Tourism, Planning and Investment, Culture and Sports, Health, and Foreign Affairs.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan gave an overview of potential, strengths and socio-economic development situation of the province in recent years, and development orientation in the future.
Chairman Pham Anh Tuan appreciated the special friendly relationship between Viet Nam and Cuba. This good relationship has been established and developed by predecessor revolutionary leaders José Martí, Fidel Castro, Ho Chi Minh, as well as generations of Cuban and Vietnamese leaders.
The Chairman said that in the coming time, there would be many opportunities for Binh Dinh and Cuba to exchange and cooperate in many fields such as health, tourism, education, culture and so on, and he hoped that Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada, as a bridge, would introduce potential Cuban partners to explore investment opportunities in Binh Dinh, contributing to promoting cooperation between the two sides, including health and cultural exchange through annual events...
On this occasion, Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada - Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City thanked the leaders of Binh Dinh province for the warm welcome to the delegation. She expressed her desire to promote cooperative activities between Binh Dinh province and Cuban localities based on the potential and strengths of both sides. She recognized the similarities in natural conditions and coastal advantages, the premise for localities of Cuba and Binh Dinh province to establish their relation. At first, she suggested that Binh Dinh province develop cooperation with the city of Matanzas in Cuba in the fields of health and education by bringing Cuban medical experts to Binh Dinh and giving scholarships for Binh Dinh to send students to study in Cuba.
