Consul General Madan Mohan Sethi emphasized that the relationship between India and Vietnam has been well developing in recent times. He hoped to continue to further promote cooperation between Indian states and businesses with Vietnamese localities and businesses in general and Binh Dinh province in particular.
At the meeting, Consul General Madan Mohan Sethi invited Chairman Pham Anh Tuan and the province's delegation to pay a working visit to India, and he also offered his ideas and suggestions for cooperation opportunities between the two sides, such as coordinating to organize investment promotion conferences in the province and in India; promoting the landscape, cultural heritage, and Cham towers of Binh Dinh to Indian tourists; organizing cultural and sports exchange groups to introduce unique features of traditional culture and arts of the two sides; sending delegations to attend events organized by India or Binh Dinh province and so on.

Chairman Pham Anh Tuan thanked and appreciated the ideas and suggestions of Consul General Madan Mohan Sethi. The Chairman also expressed his wish that at first the Consulate General could support the province in connecting and coordinating to organize an investment promotion conference in the province around March 2024, to invite Indian investors and businesses to Binh Dinh for exploring investment cooperation opportunities. In terms of other fields, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee fully supported and discussed more about the strengths, needs and directions of cooperation between the two sides.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs to be the focal agency, coordinating with relevant parties to develop specific plans to soon deploy activities to promote exchange and cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Indian partners in the coming time.
