Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan receives UAE Ambassador to Viet Nam
On the morning of March 5, 2024, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan met with Dr. Bader Almatrooshi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Viet Nam. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant agencies of the province.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan informed about the province's potential, advantages, and orientations for attracting investment and development. Currently, the province has invested in quite complete infrastructure, especially transportation infrastructure with a focus on coastal roads and it continues to invest in many industrial parks, especially the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park and Township, ready to prepare a clean land fund of up to thousands of hectares to welcome investors.
The Chairman hoped that the Ambassador would be a bridge to introduce potential UAE businesses and investors to learn about investment cooperation opportunities in the province in areas of mutual interest such as seaports and logistics, industry and technology, renewable energy and urban development.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan also shared about the trip to promote investment, trade and tourism in the UAE in December 2023. The delegation worked with many large corporations and learned about the Sharjah World Championship Week 2023-UAE. The Chairman wished Mr. Bader Almatrooshi would support trade activities in connecting UAE manufacturers, exporters, retailers and distributors with products from Binh Dinh; support the province to bring the province's Tien Vua Tea products to tea display booths in the UAE; and especially support the province to attract tourists from the Middle East in general and the UAE in particular to Binh Dinh in the coming time.

Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi affirmed that the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Viet Nam and the UAE had developed positively over the past years. Economic cooperation is always an important pillar and a bright spot in bilateral cooperation. 2023 is also a special year in the relationship between the two countries, marking 30 years since Viet Nam and the UAE established diplomatic relations and officially launched negotiations on the Vietnam - UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The two countries still have a lot of room to further develop bilateral trade and many good cooperation opportunities in fields such as tourism, sports and so on.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee invited Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi to attend the UIM F1H2O and UIM-ABP AQUABIKE Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024, held in the province at the end of March 2024.
