At the meeting, Ms. Jessica Hu - CEO of GBM presented the investment plan in the province with a cooperation project with BIDIPHAR to invest in building a modern production facility to produce high-quality diagnostic test kits using Canadian technology. The project has a total estimated investment capital of 10 - 20 million USD, applying the most advanced technology in molecular diagnostics, helping to improve domestic production capacity and meet the demand for high-quality medical testing.
Vice Chairman Lam Hai Giang highly valued the investment idea and affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant authorities of Binh Dinh province would create all favorable conditions for investors, and committed to accompany businesses in resolving administrative procedures, infrastructure support, and preferential policies for the above project. At the same time, the Vice Chairman also informed the delegation about the development orientation of sectors that were prioritized to attract investment, especially the pharmaceutical industry and other industries. With the potential and advantages of geographical location, human resources and the increasingly perfect infrastructure system of industrial parks and economic zones, Binh Dinh is always ready to welcome domestic and foreign investors, especially businesses with capacity, experience and investment projects in accordance with the province's socio-economic development plan.
Within the framework of the meeting, Ms. Jessica Hu - CEO of GBM and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huong - CEO of BIDIPHAR signed a MOU in the presence of leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments. The signing opened up investment cooperation opportunities in Binh Dinh province between businesses of both countries, Viet Nam and Canada, in the field of health and pharmaceuticals.
