Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh meets with Korean businesses
On the afternoon of July 19, 2024, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh met with Mr. Kim Jung Ryool, Chairman of Zenith Company; Mr. Lee Dong Hyun, Director of Projectick Plus Company and Mr. Hong Gil Cho, Director of P&G Tech Company, who came to survey and seek investment opportunities in Binh Dinh. Also attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Khac Tuyen, Viet Nam Trade Counselor in South Korea and representatives of departments of the province.
At the meeting, Korean businesses expressed their impressions of the socio-economic development results of Binh Dinh province in recent years. They discussed the fields that they had strengths including manufacturing and trading of construction materials, furniture, design, and large-scale event organization; developing real estate projects (industrial parks, resorts); supporting investment and development of data centers, etc.
Those Korean businesses hoped to soon have the opportunity to cooperate with Binh Dinh province in those fields and said they would actively connect cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Korean localities with similar conditions.
For his part, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that currently in Binh Dinh province there were 3 projects registered to invest by Korean enterprises with a total capital of 76.6 million USD and the province was focusing on inviting investors with modern, environmentally friendly technology, efficient use of resources, and products with competitive advantages in various sectors including agriculture, forestry and fisheries; industry; port and logistics services; tourism; urban economy. In addition, the province was also focusing on inviting businesses to organize international sports, trade, tourism and cultural events to develop the local marine sports economy.

The Vice Chairman assessed that the fields that Korean businesses had strengths were very suitable for the province's investment attraction orientation and committed to creating favorable conditions for investors to survey in the province.
