- On the afternoon of April 24th, 2024, at the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, after discussing, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India agreed to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies of Binh Dinh province to promote the implementation of the Cooperation Plan to promote investment, trade and tourism development with Indian agencies and partners. Soon, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province to organize an Investment Promotion Conference for Indian businesses in Binh Dinh province on June 25th and 26th, 2024. For the Conference to truly be a forum for exchanging information, seeking investment opportunities, promoting the development of trade and tourism activities and strengthening friendship and long-term cooperation between the two sides, the Consul General of India will invite Indian agencies, businesses and investors with potential and suitable industries, including some large Indian corporations in Vietnam and in Silicon Valley (USA) to attend this conference.
- On the afternoon of May 20th, 2024, at the office of German Industry and Commerce Vietnam (AHK), Mr. Peter Kompalla, Chief Representative of AHK, spoke and affirmed to the province's delegation that: During operation, AHK always considers Binh Dinh an important partner and will fully implement its responsibilities under the Memorandum of Cooperation that AHK signed with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province. Accordingly, in 2024, AHK will coordinate to promote propaganda and introduce Binh Dinh province at international conferences and seminars that the German Ministry of Economy has assigned AHK to chair and organize according to plan; also, in August 2024, AHK and related agencies and German businesses will visit Binh Dinh province to survey and seek investment and business opportunities and chairing seminars to propagate and disseminate strong production and supply chains; legal regulations, consumer markets for German products... so that Binh Dinh businesses can recognize and have appropriate export plans to Germany.
- On the morning of May 21st, 2024, at the Office of the Korean Trade - Investment Promotion Agency in Ho Chi Minh City (Kotra HCMC), Mr. Kim Taegyun, Deputy Director of Kotra HCMC, welcomed the initiative in coordinating and implementing related work contents in 2024 according to the Memorandum of Cooperation that Kotra HCMC and Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee signed, including the organization of the "Meet Korea 2nd" event and the Investment Promotion Conference for Korean businesses in Binh Dinh province in 2024. These are big issues, very practical and beneficial to both sides, so Kotra HCMC fully supports this; at the same time, Kotra HCMC will report the proposal to the Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City; afterwards, specific opinions will be given to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province before implementation.
At the working sessions, Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Binh Dinh province, expressed his thanks and pledged to propose to the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies to carefully prepare contents, documents and plans to welcome working delegations of the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, AHK and Kotra HCMC to contribute to the effectiveness and success of foreign affairs events in Binh Dinh province in 2024.
