Scene of the meeting to evaluate foreign non-governmental affairs
in Binh Dinh province in 2023
At the meeting, the delegates was given information on the promotion and implementation of FNG aid projects and non-project activities in 2023 through the report presented by the Director of Foreign Affairs Department. Although there have been many difficulties, challenges; with the guidance of Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee and the efforts of the agencies, local governments; the assistance of the FNGOs licensed in Binh Dinh province; as of 30th November 2023, there have been 27 ongoing projects and non-project activities in the province funded by the foreign individuals and organizations, with a total disbursed amount of USD 1,648,821. Although the projects, non-projects value was not great, they have contributed to helping the localities gradually stabilize social security, assist the poor households and disadvantaged groups to improve their jobs, raise income and try to get ahead in life. Many projects and non-projects have been completed, put into use, contributing to promoting and enhancing the quality of teaching, studying in some high schools; quality of medical examination, treatment and the hunger eradication and poverty reduction in some localities.
In order that the affairs of FNGO aids mobilization, receipt and implementation of FNGO projects and non-projects in the province could be more effective, the meeting focused on monitoring, listening to 04 opinions of agencies, localities in the province and 05 opinions of FNGOs (MCNV, ISET, PN, CNCF, ACI) about the experiences, coordination solutions in the aids mobilization, receipt and implementation of FNGO projects and non-projects in the province. On behalf of the provincial managing agency of the FNG affairs, Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh, Director of Foreign Affairs Department of Binh Dinh province expressed his thanks to FNGOs for their assistance in finance, devices for the past years and desired the FNGOs to continue their assistance in the localities, poor households and the disadvantaged people who are in great need of help.

At the end of the meeting, 05 FNGOs (including MCNV, PN, ACI, ISET, Rencontres du Vietnam) and 05 agencies, 05 individuals from the agencies, local government in Binh Dinh province were presented Certificates of Merit from Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee for their remarkable achievements in the FNG affairs in the period of 2021-2023.
