Investment promotion seminar with Belgium held in Binh Dinh
On the afternoon of March 24, the Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with Becamex IDC Corporation and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company organized the seminar "Investment promotion of Binh Dinh, Vietnam - Belgium province": Potential for Quy Nhon coastal economic development in the form of face-to-face and online.

At the bridge point of the Kingdom of Belgium, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Thao, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Belgium; Mr. Andries Gryffroy, First Vice President of the Belgian Senate, President of the Belgian-Vietnamese Alliance (BVA) and more than 80 Belgian businesses attended at the two bridge points and online.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Binh Dinh has been focusing on the complete development of the transport infrastructure system, infrastructure of economic zones, industrial parks, including Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park. Therefore, this seminar is an opportunity for Binh Dinh province in general and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh in particular to introduce and promote more strongly the image, investment attraction policies and favorable conditions when investing in Binh Dinh province for Belgian investors, thereby creating momentum to attract many important and effective projects, contributing to the development of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh into a dynamic and model industrial park of the province.
In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that, with the available advantages and potential, Binh Dinh is determined to improve the quality of the business investment environment, complete the transport infrastructure, connect technical infrastructure of industrial parks and economic zones, and promote administrative procedure reform, towards the goal of building a professional, modern, efficient and effective public administration. Binh Dinh has been striving to become an "ideal destination" for domestic and foreign investors.
Mr. Karl Van den Bossche, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam said: Vietnam in general Binh Dinh in particular has been showing increasing innovation and outstanding development. We are really impressed with the infrastructure, seaports of the province and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park with all the factors that Belgian businesses are interested in. In particular, provincial leaders are strongly committed to supporting businesses to invest in sustainable development. The potential for economic development in Binh Dinh is still very large, which is an opportunity for Belgian businesses to learn and cooperate in investment and sustainable development. This investment promotion seminar will be the starting point for a new development between Binh Dinh province and the Kingdom of Belgium.

In particular, Mr. Tomaso Andreatta, Chairman of the EuroCham’s Green Growth Committee shared the trend of green economic development, green growth is an inevitable trend, because it is a catalyst in investment and innovation, contributing to creating new, sustainable economic opportunities. This is the strength of Belgian businesses and Binh Dinh is showing its efforts to build a green economy on the basis of science and technology, develop sustainable infrastructure to improve the quality of growth, promote competitive advantages and minimize negative impacts on the environment. Therefore, this will be a "plus" in attracting Belgian investors and businesses to learn and cooperate in investment in Binh Dinh province.
