In 2019, the Provincial People's Committee and Izumisano City signed an agreement to establish a relationship of friendship and comprehensive cooperation for mutual understanding, friendship, and common prosperity. According to the signed document, the two sides make joint efforts for the development and cooperation in the fields of administration, culture, tourism, training, economy, and other fields based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and conformity, which obey the laws of Vietnam and Japan. The two sides strengthen and deepen mutual understanding, for the sake of friendship and prosperity... However, in 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, face-to-face meetings, and visits between the two sides face many difficulties.
In the delegation led by Mr. Oku Shinya - Director of the Department of Education of Izumisano city, Japan to visit Binh Dinh province this time, there was also the volleyball team named "MAMA-SAN" which was a mainly housewives’ team.
As for the women's volleyball team of Binh Dinh province, which is a volleyball team selected from officials of districts, towns and cities who regularly participate in volleyball tournaments organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, and the Department of Education and Training.
The friendly match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of Izumisano City's MAMA-SAN team.

Although there are different cultures and language differences, I still feel your love for us. This is the opening exchange activity for upcoming activities between Izumisano city and Binh Dinh province. Regarding the cooperation programs in the coming time, it is expected that in July or August this year, we will send a delegation of high school students to Binh Dinh to learn in a short time.”
