Provincial Party Committee Secretary receives PNE AG leader (Germany)
On the morning of November 22, 2022, at the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council received Mr. Thorsten Fastenau - Executive Vice President, Director in charge of Offshore Wind Power of PNE AG, Germany on the occasion of attending the Conference on Investment Opportunities for German enterprises in Binh Dinh on November 21st, 2022. Attending the meeting were also Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang and leaders of related departments.
At the meeting, Mr. Thorsten Fastenau thanked the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung, leaders of Binh Dinh province and related departments and sectors for their interest in creating favorable conditions for PNE AG to attend the Conference in Binh Dinh province, sign a MoU with Binh Dinh People's Committee on cooperation and development of the offshore wind farm project in the province and be allowed to survey for investment promotion of the offshore wind farm project in the province in the past time. Mr. Thorsten Fastenau said, PNE AG is a corporation with capacity, experience and has developed wind power projects in 30 countries around the world. In Vietnam, Binh Dinh province is the first locality where the company implements an investment project, because the potential for offshore wind energy here is relatively large, provincial leaders are interested and enthusiastic to help and Quy Nhon city is located on the coast like Cuxhaven city, the Company's headquarters in Germany.
Provincial Party Committee Secretary Ho Quoc Dung highly appreciated PNE AG for choosing Binh Dinh to conduct a large-scale survey and investment promotion of the offshore wind farm project. The Secretary said that the wind power development project that the Company is promoting in the province is in line with the province's policy of attracting investment on promoting the development of clean energy and renewable energy. When put into operation, the project will significantly add electricity to the country and the province to serve socio-economic development. The province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for the investor to implement the project quickly and effectively./.
