Memorandum of Understanding between Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and German partners
On the morning of November 21st, in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with The Delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam) organized the Investment Promotion Conference of German enterprises in Binh Dinh province with “Binh Dinh - An attractive destination for German industries and software development” theme.
The conference aims to introduce and promote the potential, advantages, key investment projects and preferential policies, to encourage investment attraction of Binh Dinh province so German investors and businesses could know the information and register for investment and project implementation in Binh Dinh; at the same time, creating a good impression on the image, people, culture, investment attraction environment... of Binh Dinh province in order to expanding international cooperation relations, attracting more and more programs, projects and external resources for socio-economic development of the province.
Whereby, AHK Vietnam, is the representative agency for the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce DIHK which based in Berlin, Germany, with the role of promoting bilateral trade relations between Germany and Viet Nam, agreed with Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee to sign cooperation agreement between the two sides at the conference in order to continue to strengthen and improve the efficiency of cooperation between the two sides in the coming time. The Memorandum of Understanding focuses on cooperation contents such as: introduce and promote the potential, advantages, and opportunities of cooperation and investment of Binh Dinh province to German businesses, investors and partners; supporting German businesses to come to Binh Dinh province to survey and find opportunities for investment and business cooperation in fields of mutual interest; cooperation, exchange information and experience in applying science and technology, using clean energy, modern production and business processes to contribute to improving competitiveness, serving sustainable development...

In addition, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and PNE AG Group (Germany) also signed a Memorandum of Understanding in this Conference, in order to create a favorable basis for the coordination of survey, research, investment and development of offshore wind power projects of PNE AG Group, which with a total capacity of up to 2,000 MW, the project area is about 961 km² and the total investment is expected to be about 4.6 billion USD. The implementation of this project will make a great contribution to the electricity output of the country and the region, and make a positive contribution to the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province.
PNE AG Group (formerly known as Plambeck Neue Energie AG) is founded in 1995, which is a German enterprise based in Cuxhaven, Lower Saxony. PNE AG is currently implementing wind energy projects on land and at sea in more than 30 countries. PNE AG's business model includes planning, building, financing, operating and selling wind farms. In addition, PNE AG's products also include projects in photovoltaic technology, electricity storage and hydrogen power. Currently, PNE AG has invested in developed countries such as Hungary, France, Turkey, the US and some developing countries in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
