Becamex IDC Corporation coordinates with Binh Dinh People's Committee to organize investment promotion seminar between Binh Dinh province and Australian businesses
On the morning of October 18, 2022, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, an online and face-to-face investment promotion seminar between Binh Dinh province and Australian businesses was organized by Becamex IDC Corporation in collaboration with Binh Dinh People's Committee. Attending the seminar at the Binh Dinh point were Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee with representatives of relevant departments and Mr. Nguyen Van Lang - General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen The Duy - Marketing Director of English-Speaking Market of Becamex IDC Corporation. At the Australian point, there were Mr. Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ambassador of Vietnam to Australia, Mr. Francis Ki Yuong Wong, Representative of Becamex IDC Corporation in the Australian market and representatives of Australian businesses and associations.
View of the seminar in AustraliaSpeaking at the seminar, Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that the socio-economic infrastructure of Binh Dinh province, especially transport, trade - service infrastructure, infrastructure of economic zones and industrial parks in the province has been focused on investment synchronously and modernly and identified as one of three breakthrough stages to promote the socio-economic development of the province in the coming time. Over the years, Binh Dinh province has made efforts to implement many policies to attract investment, creating favorable conditions for investors in Binh Dinh province. Among the large investors in the province is Becamex IDC Corporation, investing in building and trading infrastructure of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park with an area of 1,000 hectares (in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district). This is the first model industrial park built in Binh Dinh province, with the expectation of creating breakthroughs in attracting investment and developing local industries and services. The Chairman emphasized, "With the determination for the sustainable development of the locality in particular and the country in general, I would like to invite the Australian investors to Binh Dinh province, Vietnam to achieve successes".
Appreciating the potential and strengths of Binh Dinh province as well as the determination of Binh Dinh's leaders in creating a favorable investment environment, Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia, Mr. Nguyen Tat Thanh and Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski both pledged to support and introduce Australian businesses to Binh Dinh province for investment, production and business in order to contribute to further promoting the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Australia, towards the 50th anniversary of the two countries establishing diplomatic relations in 2023.
At the seminar, representatives of Australian businesses also shared about the establishment and development of supply chains in production and cooperation with Vietnam, introducing fields Australian businesses can invest in Binh Dinh province such as education and training, energy, tourism, digital economy and so on.
