Binh Dinh awarding the Investment Registration Certificate to Kurz Group, the Federal Republic of Germany
On the morning of November 8th, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province held a ceremony to award the Investment Registration Certificate of the "hot stamping foil manufacturing factory" project to Kurz Group, the Federal Republic of Germany in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park (IP) of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

Implementing the Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation between the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province and Kurz Group, the Federal Republic of Germany signed in late 2020, Binh Dinh province and Kurz Group have carried out the relevant contents with great determination and completed all the conditions and items of works as committed.
To help the investor have the legal basis for implementation of the next steps of the project, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province officially held a ceremony to award Kurz Group the investment registration certificate of the "hot stamping foil manufacturing factory" project in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh IP of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in the presence of the leaders of the province’s relevant departments and agencies, the press agencies in the province.
This project invested by Kurz Group in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh IP has relatively new products to be used for the decoration industry and the related application facilities that belong to the high technology group of Germany. The project is developed on an area of 12 hectares, with a total investment of USD 40 million, expected to start construction at the end of the first quarter of 2022, completed and put into operation in late 2023.
After completed and put into operation, the project will provide the specific products such as decorative film/decal and hot stamping foils; semi-finished materials and lacquers for decorative films/decals and hot stamping foils, functional films and sensors; related tools and application machines; plastic parts and the services including assembly and installation of the industrial machinery and equipment; repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment; manufacturing-related services and the technical consulting service.
This is the first project that has been attracted, which is expected to be a good start for the formation and strong development of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh IP thanks to the great efforts made by Binh Dinh province, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh and Kurz Group. With 100% foreign direct investment, the project will be a strong driving force to attract foreign investment, especially from the Federal Republic of Germany and the European countries to Binh Dinh province in the coming time.
After the project is built and put into operation, it will be expanded to USD 100 million as planned.
