Binh Dinh promotes investment with Taiwanese enterprises
On the afternoon of October 27th, at the Headquarters of Binh Dinh People's Committee, Becamex IDC Corporation in collaboration with Binh Dinh People's Committee organized an investment promotion conference for Taiwanese enterprises in the form of online and face-to-face. Attending the conference at Binh Dinh bridge were Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with representatives of relevant agencies, Mr. Nguyen Van Lang - General Director of Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company, Ms. Huang Chyong Yu - Chief Representative of Becamex IDC Corporation in Taiwan and Mr. Hua Chi Thanh - President of Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Da Nang. At Ho Chi Minh City bridge were Mr. Han Quoc Dieu - Director of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and Mr. Tao Dieu Van - Senior Sales Director of Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd. and representatives of Taiwanese businesses.
In the opening speech, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang said, Binh Dinh is constantly improving the quality of the business investment environment to strive to become an "ideal destination" for domestic and foreign investors. In particular, the province has been focusing on completing the transport infrastructure system, infrastructure in economic zones and industrial parks, including Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh. In addition, reforming administrative procedures on investment, construction, tax, customs and improving the relationship between investors, enterprises and local authorities at all levels are top priorities, towards the goal of building a professional and modern administration with effectiveness, efficiency, capacity to create development, integrity, serving the people and businesses. Coming to Binh Dinh, investors will be given all favorable conditions to successfully implement and develop sustainably the project.
At the conference, representatives of Becamex IDC Corporation in Taiwan, Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Da Nang shared the potentials and advantages of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh in particular and introduced policies to attract investment in Binh Dinh in general, in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh in particular. Representatives of relevant agencies of the province also answered and clarified issues that Taiwanese enterprises were interested in, such as: preferential policies on tax and customs; import and export procedures; work permit and so on./.
