On the afternoon of November 4th, at the Provincial Convention Center, Binh Dinh People's Committee in collaboration with Becamex IDC Corporation organized an hybrid Investment Promotion Seminar in Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam - Netherlands with the theme: "Potential for economic development in coastal Quy Nhon". At the the Provincial Convention Center bridge, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan chaired the seminar with the attendance of the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City Daniel Coenraad Stork, CEO of the Dutch Business Association in Vietnam Guido van Rooy, CEO of Becamex IDC Pham Ngoc Thuan and related departments of the province. At the Dutch bridge, there were Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Pham Viet Anh, Director of the World Trade Center of Leeuwarden Evert-Jan Schouwatra, representatives of Becamex IDC Corporation in the Netherlands and more than 100 Dutch enterprises.

Speaking at the seminar, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that Binh Dinh had constantly improved the investment environment quality, striving to become an "ideal destination" for domestic and foreign investors. Coming to Binh Dinh, businesses would be given all favorable conditions to successfully implement and sustainably develop projects. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also informed Dutch businesses about the fields that Binh Dinh was attracting investment, such as: developing high-tech and environmentally friendly agriculture and industry; waste treatment, environmental protection; maritime and seaport development; offshore wind power...
Appreciating the potentials of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh province in particular in the fields of seaports, offshore wind power ..., Mr. Daniel Stork, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City said that they were also the strengths and the needs of the Netherlands for investment. Therefore, the seminar would help promote brand, attract foreign investment in Binh Dinh province, and also connect and build relationships between provincial government and Dutch investors in the coming time.
For his part, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Pham Viet Anh said that the seminar would open up many cooperation projects for Binh Dinh province. The Ambassador hoped that the cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Dutch partners would be more and more effective; at the same time, he pledged to accompany Binh Dinh province and businesses of the two sides to promote cooperation in the coming time.
Presented at the seminar were also a lot of presentations from Becamex IDC Corporation in the Netherlands and in Binh Dinh province, Dutch Business Association in Vietnam, De Heus... They highly appreciated the potential and advantages of Binh Dinh, the policy of attracting investment in Binh Dinh, the support of the province and opportunities for sustainable production and business development in Binh Dinh in general and at Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park in particular.
Previously, some activities in the framework of the event took place such as the seminar between the Provincial People's Committee and Dutch enterprises with the theme "Sustainable development and constructing a system of seaports and logistics”, a courtesy call on the leader of the Provincial People's Committee by the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City; field trips to Quy Nhon Port, FPT Quy Nhon University, and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park./.
