Conference on the Party and State’s external policies and the parties’ action in the East Sea
On the morning of May 26th 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province held the conference to inform the leaders and key officials of the province about the external policies of the Party and State and the action of the parties in the East Sea.
At the Conference, Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Head of the National Boundary Commission, Head of the Standing Office of the State Steering Committee for the East Sea - Islands reported the economic, political, cultural and social situation of the country in the first months of 2020; the external policies of the Party and State in the context of current integration; some noticeable features of the East Sea issues. The important information helps the leaders, party members, civil servants and public employees of the province have the updated information on the national and international situation and our Party’s guidelines and State’s policies for such a context.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this conference would not only help the leaders and key officials of the province have an overview of the East Sea issues and the Party and State’s external policies for the current situation but also help the cadres and party members of the province be aware of the position and role of foreign affairs and the sea, island and boundary strategies of the country for the cause of national construction and defense. Therefore, effective measures could be proposed to promote the development of foreign affairs and fulfill the objectives and tasks of the Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy as set in the Resolution of the Central Committee and the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee.
