According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Foreign Affairs has taken care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Bui Thi Yem in My Chanh commune, Phu My district since 2015. Although she is 87 years old, her health is still very good. Visiting her on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, the mission of the Department of Foreign Affairs graciously gave the best regards to the mother and her family. On behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Vo Dinh Kha expressed his deep gratitude for her huge losses and sacrifices in the past time, and at the same time, encouraged the Mother to continue keeping healthy and living happily as a good example for the younger generations. Visiting the Mother on this day every year is a very practical and significant activity, expressing the gratitude to the war invalids and martyrs’ families and the families with meritorious services to the revolution, raising the spirit of "when drinking water, remember its source", showing affection and responsibilities of the cadres and civil servants to the relatives of heroes who laid down for the cause of the struggle and national liberation.
