Binh Dinh delegation attends Conference of Vietnamese and Japanese local leaders 2020 in Da Nang city.
Binh Dinh delegation led by Mr. Phan Cao Thang, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee (PPC) attended the conference of Vietnamese and Japanese local leaders 2020 in Da Nang city from January 12th to 13th. The event welcomed Secretary General of the Ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and Chairman of the Japan – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Nikai Toshihiro and over 1,000 Japanese delegates. Among the delegates, there are parliamentarians, leaders of localities and businesses. On the Vietnamese side, Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue, head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Organization Pham Minh Chinh, together with leaders of the Party, Government, ministries, central agencies and nearly 20 provinces and cities, and representatives of Vietnam - Japan Friendship Parliamentary Alliance attended the event.
The conference of Vietnamese and Japanese local leaders 2020 was held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with Da Nang People's Committee in the framework of the visit to Vietnam by Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and Chairman of the Japan – Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance.
At the conference, the delegates of Vietnam and Japan’s localities introduced their strengths and potential, the cooperative fields as well as the policies and measures that they have been applying to promote cooperation between the two sides... On the sidelines of the conference, the local leaders of the two countries also had many face-to-face exchanges to seek partners and promote cooperation in the specific sectors.
Speaking at the conference on the afternoon of January 13th, Mr. Phan Cao Thang, Permanent Vice Chairman of PPC introduced the socio-economic situation and investment and cooperation opportunities of the province with the leaders of Japanese localities such as Hokkaido, Yamagata, some Japanese corporations and businesses such as Mitsubishi, Fujitsu and Japanese international organizations such as JICA, JETRO... for cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
This conference is an opportunity for Binh Dinh province to promote and further expand its cooperation with the international organizations, localities and businesses of Japan and to meet, exchange information, and promote cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, tourism, labor with Japanese partners./.
