Consul General of Russia in Da Nang city received by Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee
On the morning of April 14th, 2021, Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received a courtesy call paid by Mr. Plam Andrei Yurievich, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang city. The reception was attended by the leaders of the related departments and agencies of the province.
At the meeting, Mr. Lam Hai Giang informed the Consul General of the natural conditions, potential and remarkable achievements of Binh Dinh in the socio-economic development over the past time and said that the province was attracting investment in different sectors, especially in tourism considered as the main economic sector.
There are 84 FDI projects in the province, with a total registered capital of about USD 01 billion, but none of them is from Russia. Therefore, Mr. Lam Hai Giang hoped that in the coming time Mr. Plam Andrei Yurievich would pay more attention to introduction of the Russian enterprises to Binh Dinh province for investment and also support to further promote friendship, cooperation and cultural exchange between two sides.
Mr. Plam Andrei Yurievich, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang city thanked the province for the warm welcome and shared that he was very impressed with the potential, advantages and development of Binh Dinh province in recent years. He said the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang city was planning to ask the investors from the East of Russia to explore the investment cooperation opportunities in Vietnam, but due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, it had difficulty in carrying out the plan. However, “In 2021, the Consulate General will organize many events to introduce and promote the typical products to the foreign partners, so I hope that Binh Dinh province will participate and promote the image of the province”, he said.
