Kurz Group, Germany seeks for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh
On the morning of Decemeber 10th, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long – Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee received the delegation of the Kurz Group led by Dr. Andreas Hirschfelder, Member of the Management Board, Vice President of the Kurz Group. The meeting was also attended by the leaders of Department of Investment and Planning, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Foreign Affairs, and Economic Zone Administration.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long expressed his pleasure to welcome the high-level leaders of the Kurz Group and introduced them to the socio-economic situation and the potential of the province. Binh Dinh province and Leipzig city in Germany signed the cooperative agreement in 2018 and it is considered as the foundation for investment attraction to Binh Dinh, he said. Binh Dinh has 03 FDI projects invested by the German investors with the registered investment capital of more than USD 15 million in the total of 82 FDI projects with the registered investment of over USD 975 million.
On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Andreas Hirschfelder thanked the leaders of the province and the related departments and agencies for the warm welcome. He was very delighted to have a face-to-face meeting with the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and the relevant agencies of the province to introduce the Kurz Group and its orientation. The Group was established in 1899 and now has 24 subsidiaries, 14 production locations and more than 70 agents. It is also the biggest manufacturer of hot stamping foil and the technologies related to anti-counterfeit, barcode and so on. On the visit, the delegation officially met with the provincial leaders after a long time seeking for the investment opportunities and investment preferential policies of the province.
On the morning of December 11th 2020, the delegation is meeting the BEZA to have discussions about the investment incentives in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
