Binh Dinh, Becamex IDC organized online seminar on Korean investment promotion
On the morning of March 23rd, 2021, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) in coordination with Becamex IDC organized an online seminar on Korean investment promotion. The seminar was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of PPC; Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Becamex IDC; the leader of Yongsan Office in Quy Nhon City and the leaders of the relevant agencies in Binh Dinh Province and by Mr. Sung Jang Hyun, Mayor of Yongsan District, Seoul; the representatives of Becamex IDC and Becamex Binh Dinh project office in the Republic of Korea and more than 100 Korean enterprises in the Republic of Korea.
The seminar aimed to introduce the potential and advantages of Binh Dinh province to the Korean investors and to ask the leading Korean enterprises to conduct surveys and invest in the areas the province needs such as: high-tech industry, electronics industry, agricultural processing industry, wood processing industry, supporting industry, mechanical industry, high-tech agricultural products ….in Becamex Binh Dinh industrial park.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of PPC thanked the Mayor of Yongsan District, the leaders of Becamex IDC and representatives of more than 100 Korean businesses for their attendance and for the favourable conditions for Binh Dinh Province to meet and introduce the investment potential and opportunities to the Korean investors. He affirmed that the province would create the most favourable conditions for the investors developing the projects in the province.
Mr. Sung Jang Hyun, Mayor of Yongsan District said the online seminar had attracted the attention of many Korean businesses. The seminar provided a lot of detailed information about Binh Dinh province for the investors; it was also valuable time for sowing new development cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, gradually forming an information system between the Korean businesses and Binh Dinh province.
Binh Dinh province and Becamex IDC are speeding up construction of Becamex - Binh Dinh Integrated Township and Industrial Park on an area of 1,425 hectares with the total investment of more than VND 3,300 billion. The park is expected to be attractive for effective investment, contributing to a breakthrough in the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province.
