Teachers and students from Izumisano city, Japan participate in friendly exchange activities in Binh Dinh province

In order to implement the local cooperation program, Binh Dinh Department of Foreign Affairs has coordinated with relevant agencies to develop a plan to welcome a delegation of teachers and students from Izumisano city to participate in friendly exchange activities in the province from July 31, 2024 to August 2, 2024.

On the afternoon of July 19, 2024, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh met with Mr. Kim Jung Ryool, Chairman of Zenith Company; Mr. Lee Dong Hyun, Director of Projectick Plus Company and Mr. Hong Gil Cho, Director of P&G Tech Company, who came to survey and seek investment opportunities in Binh Dinh. Also attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Khac Tuyen, Viet Nam Trade Counselor in South Korea and representatives of departments of the province.

Binh Dinh is preparing to organize a conference on investment promotion, trade and tourism development with Indian partners

In order to implement the Plan to promote cooperation with the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, after discussing and agreeing with the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, based on the proposals of the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Binh Dinh province, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 105/KH-UBND on May 27th, 2024 to organize a conference on investment promotion, trade and tourism development with Indian partners on June 25th and 26th 2024.

Coordinating to promote foreign affairs activities in Binh Dinh province

To implement the key work program assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2024, from April 24 - May 21, 2024, a delegation, led by Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Binh Dinh province Nguyen Thai Binh paid a working visit to foreign agencies in Ho Chi Minh city (Consulate General of India, German Industry and Commerce Vietnam and Korea Trade - Investment Promotion Agency) to discuss about the plans to promote foreign affairs activities in Binh Dinh province in 2024. Departments of Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Tourism and the Economic Zone Management Board of Binh Dinh province also attended the delegation.

Official launch of the mine action for The Korea – Viet Nam peace village project

On the morning of May 23, at Tay Son District Political Center, the Vietnam National Mine Action Center (VNMAC) coordinated with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) at Vietnam, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project "Mine Action for Vietnam - Korea Peace Village" (abbreviated as KVPVP project).

Meeting to evaluate foreign non-governmental affairs in Binh Dinh province in 2023

On the afternoon of 26th December 2023, Binh Dinh Department of Foreign Affairs organized the meeting to evaluate the foreign non-governmental (FNG) affairs in Binh Dinh province in 2023. The meeting was attended by the leader of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province; members of the Provincial Committee for FNG Organization Affairs; the representatives of relevant departments, agencies, associations, unions, the People’s Committee of districts, city; the FNG project owners and 10 typical FNGOs implementing the projects, non-projects in the province in 2023.

The International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) in collaboration with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) organized the seminar "Advanced Summer School on Quantum Field Theory and Quantum Gravity" at the ICISE. SEAFF/SFL and AFD of France pay a working visit to Binh Dinh province

On the morning of April 18th, 2023, at the headquarters of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received the delegation of Syndicat Eau & Assainissement De Fontoy-Vallée De La Fensch (SEAFF)/Syndicat Mixte De Production D'eau Fensch-Lorraine (SFL) and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) of France to launch the implementation of the project on survey of the wastewater collection and treatment system, development of the plan to implement the priority projects and seeking fund for the project in An Nhon town, with a vision to 2040 (referred to as the Ficol project). The meeting was also attended by the members of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Local Cooperation Framework Agreement between the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province and SEAFF/SFL of France and the leaders of a number of departments and agencies of the province and the People's Committee of An Nhon town.

The 12th Vietnam-France decentralized cooperation conference in Hanoi.

On April 14th, the 12th Vietnam-France decentralized cooperation Conference, with the theme “Decentralized cooperation: The driving force for comprehensive and sustainable recovery and development after the Covid-19 pandemic”, officially held in Hanoi. The delegation of Binh Dinh province is led by Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with representatives of departments, and delivered speeches at the conference's discussion session.

Women's volleyball friendly match between Izumisano city team and Binh Dinh team

On the morning of March 29th, at the Gymnasium of the Provincial Sports Competition and Training Center, a friendly volleyball match between the women's volleyball team of Izumisano city, Osaka province, Japan and the Binh Dinh women's team took place. This is one of the activities of the Izumisano City Delegation in Binh Dinh, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21st, 1973 - September 21st, 2023). Attending the match were representatives of leaders of relevant departments and agencies.
